Danbury Helps Danbury: Donation Drive Begins To Send Aid To Texas

DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury, Conn. is reaching out a helping hand to the residents of Danbury, Tx., who have been hard hit by Hurricane Harvey.

Those who wish to help can drop off items at the Danbury Fire Department, which began accepting donations today.

“Let’s help out Danbury. #DanburyPride,” Mayor Mark Boughton wrote on Facebook.

Starting Tuesday, residents can also drop off items at CityCenter Danbury, 268 Main Street, and Danbury City Hall, 155 Deer Hill Avenue

Danbury, a city of fewer than 2,000 in Brazoria County, is in need of non-perishable food, bottled water, hygiene products, pet food and baby items.
