DANBURY, Conn. — With more than a foot-and-a-half of snow on the ground Saturday, the Danbury Library is closed for the day.

The Danbury Fair mall did an about-face and is closed for the day as well. After first saying it would open at 1 p.m., it received a Twitter from Mayor Mark Boughton asking, "@DanburyFair Hey, how are you going to open at 1 when the state of Ct has closed the roads?"

The state's roadways remain closed under an order from Gov. Dannel Malloy.

Check back with The Danbury Daily Voice for more information on closings in town.
