A Stamford man was arrested on DUI charges after he was involved in an accident on I-95 southbound in Westport with a tanker truck that rolled over and caught fire near the Saugatuck River bridge, police said. The second driver was killed in the crash, which closed the highway for nearly 11 hours overnight. 

A $220 million deal to keep Sikorsky Aircraft at its current Stratford headquarters until at least 2032 flew to quick approval by the state Legislature — 35-1 in the Senate and 136-6 in the House.
