DANBURY, Conn. – Boating traffic on Candlewood Lake near Danbury Bay will be disrupted on Saturday due to the Annual Danbury Volunteer Fireman’s Fireworks Display.
The Marine Patrol in conjunction with the DEEP ECON Police will be stopping all boats entering Danbury Bay for a safety inspection. These inspections will only take a couple of minutes and will be a minor inconvenience to boaters.

Children under the age of 13 must wear their life jacket (PFD) at all times while the boat is under way. In addition, all boats must have their required lights in working order.
