Garbage Truck Hits, Kills Worker At Transfer Station In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- An employee was hit by a garbage truck and killed at the Winter Bros. transfer station in Danbury on Wednesday morning, the News-Times reported.

Police were investigating at the White Street location, but it appeared that a garbage truck was backing up when it hit the unidentified 57-year-old man at about 7 a.m., the News-Times said.
