Giudices Family Gives Update On Danbury Prison Stint For 'Housewives' Star

DANBURY, Conn. -- Joe Giudice, husband of reality television star Teresa Giudice, is playing the role of mother and father while his wife serves out her 15-month prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution at Danbury, according to Us Weekly.

Melissa Gorga said Teresa Giudice's sister, said her sibling is holding up well in prison. Gorga said she had written her sister and that Joe Giudice had spoken to her on the phone, US Weekly reported.

Giudice, 42, and her husband pleaded guilty under a deal to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in a multimillion-dollar mortgage and bankruptcy case.

Teresa Guidice began serving her sentence in January. Once her time is completed, Joe Guidice will serve a 41-month sentence, Us Weekly said.
