NEWTOWN, Conn. -- It's time to clean our those garages of all of the old paint and hazardous waste that most residents don't know what to do with during the Household Hazardous Waste drop-off on Saturday, May 21 at the Newtown Public Works garage.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is open to residents of Newtown, Bethel, Danbury, New Fairfield, Redding and Ridgefield at the garage located at 4 Turkey Hill Road. (Take Route 25 to Peck’s Lane. Follow Peck’s Lane to first intersection. Turn on to Turkey Hill Road, Newtown Public Works is on the right).
