DANBURY, Conn. — A man suffered serious leg trauma after he was struck by a Metro-North train in Danbury late Friday night, according to NBC Connecticut.
It was not clear why the victim was on the tracks when he was hit by a Danbury-bound train at about 11:40 p.m. between East Liberty Street and Taylor Street, NBC Connecticut said.
He was airlifted to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was in stable condition, NBC Connecticut said.
