Mayor Calls Threat Not Credible At Danbury High School

DANBURY, Conn. — Mayor Mark Boughton said a threat scrawled on a bathroom wall at Danbury High School is not credible, according to the News Times website.

“Our police department has fully investigated the threat and deemed it not credible,” Mayor Mark Boughton told the News Times of the threat, written in Sharpie in a boys bathroom.

Police presence will be increased at the high school on Wednesday, the day targeted in the threat, the News Times said.

News of the threat had circulated on Facebook.
