Sherman IGA Collecting Items To Send To Harvey Victims In Texas

SHERMAN, Conn.— Sherman residents are invited to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey by stopping by the Sherman IGA to donate food and personal care items.

The Sherman IGA will be collecting items to send to victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

The donations will be accepted Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Sherman IGA is working with a national nonprofit charity to fill a truck with needed supplies for Houston, Texas.

Canned food and personal care items are among the items that can be donated.

The Sherman IGA is located at 15 Route 39 North.
