State Police Recover Body Of Stamford Man From Lake Waramaug

STAMFORD, Conn. — The body of a 50-year-old Stamford man was pulled from Lake Waramaug in Kent after he fell from a small fishing boat, NBC Connecticut reported. EnCon police from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and state police from Troop L barracks in Litchfield responded to a report that two people had fallen overboard, NBC Connecticut said.

A man in his 30s was also pulled from the lake and sent to New Milford Hospital, the report said. 

Investigators did not release the name of the deceased man, NBC Connecticut said. They said is appeared to be an accident, and no foul play is suspected, the report said.
