Susan Drucker, a 56-year-old New York City woman, was arrested on a trespassing charge after she was found wandering the maternity ward at Stamford Hospital wearing a jacket with the name of a New York hospital on it and carrying a stethoscope in a bag, police said.
The driver and two passengers were killed when a car fleeing an attempted traffic stop in Putnam County, N.Y., crashed into a pole on Routes 6/202 in Danbury. The sheriff's deputy began the chase, which was broken off at a high rate of speed over the state line, because the car was driving erratically, police said. Driver Raymond Rivera, 31; Waner Nunez, 29; and Nelson Osegueda, 36, all of Danbury, were killed .
Carol Cardillo, 53, was charged with second-degree manslaughter in the March death of a 4-month-old baby in her unlicensed daycare in Fairfield. She is suspected of giving the baby Benadryl to help him sleep, police said. The boy's Shelton parents say they want justice in the case.
