Two Injured In Rollover Crash On Route 7 In Ridgefield

Update: RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Route 7 has reopened Wednesday after a three-car crash sent two people to Danbury  Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the News-Times.

The Ridgefield Police Department asks that all residents contact them when concerned for their safety.

Original story: RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Route 7 is closed in Ridgefield near the intersection with Route 102 due to an overturned car, the Connecticut Department of Transportation reports. 

A detour is in place. 

The accident between Route 107-57/School Street and Route 102/Branchville Road, near the Days Inn.

Traffic is also being rerouted from Route 7 at Route 35 north of the accident scene. 

Two people were taken to the hospital after the 11:30 a.m. crash, the Ridgefield Press reported

Motorists are advised to find an alternate route. It was not clear how long it would take to clear the accident scene.
