FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The commercials associated with Super Bowl Sunday have become as much a part of the big day as the action on the football field.

Billboard.com released its list of best and worst commercials from this year.

Billboard rated the "Clash of Clans" commercial featuring Liam Neeson taking the role of his character from the "Taken" movies as the best ad from this year's Super Bowl.

Other top commercials, according to Billboard, were Esurance's commercial with Lindsay Lohan, Pierce Brosnan as a secret agent for Kia, and Mercedes Benz's take on the tortoise and the hare.

Billboard said the worst commercial of the year award goes to the Valeant and its CGI toe wearing a football helmet. Another ad that missed the mark was Nissan's commercial featuring a car accident set to "Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin, who died in a car crash in 1981.
