Anne F. Dachenhausen, 95, Of Danbury, Worked For Reads, Jordan Marsh

DANBURY, Conn. - Anne F. Dachenhausen of Danbury died Monday, Oct. 27. She was 95.

Dachenhausen was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Danbury, to Frank and Anna (McDonald) Hossan. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1937. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

She worked in home goods for Reads and later Jordan Marsh for many years. She was a member with the Danbury Senior Center, the Widow and Widowers Club, and AARP.

Dachenhausen is survived by her sons, Brian E. Dachenhausen (Rosann) and Kevin Dachenhausen of South Carolina; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Edward J. Dachenhausen; sisters, Marguerite Hossan, Mary Grace Hossan, Rita Gozzi and Jeanette Holick; and daughter-in-law, Ginny Dachenhausen.

Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 30, from 9:15 and 10:15 a.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation, Route 9W, Haverstraw, NY 10993, attention Jodi Brangaccio, in honor of Joey Archiere Jr.
