Audrey A. Kaplan, Former Resident Of Danbury

NEW MILFORD, Conn. - Audrey A. Kaplan of New Milford, formerly of Danbury, died Wednesday, Dec. 10. She was 79.

Kaplan was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Astoria, Queens, N.Y., to William and Madelyn (Benson) Geed. At an early age, she moved with her family to Danbury where she attended St. Peter School and graduated from Danbury High School in the Class of 1953. In prior years, she was an office secretary at Sanna Chiropractic Center and in the Brookfield School system before becoming associated with her husband’s chiropractic practice as the office manager. She was an area resident for the past 70 years, and was a member of St. Peter Parish of Danbury.

Kaplan is survived by her husband, Dr. Lee S. Kaplan; sons, Daniel Sadler of Georgia and Corey Sadler of Brookfield; daughter, Kathleen G. Calabrese of New Milford; brother, William Geed of Chandler, Ariz.; sister, Beverly Geed of Sarasota, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 121 Main St., Danbury. Interment will take place at the direction of the family.
