DANBURY, Conn. - Margaret "Peggy" McLaughlin of Danbury died Jan. 3. She was 92.
McLaughlin was born Dec. 14, 1921, daughter of Margaret Gildea and Leo K. McLaughlin. She was educated in the New York City schools, graduating from Parkard Commercial College, now part of New York University, in 1939. She worked for the former New York Central Railroad (now Metro-North) for 40 years, retiring as a supervisor and office manager in the Terminal Superintendent's Office in Grand Central Terminal.
McLaughlin is survived by her cousins Mary Wittland, Frances O'Neill and Mrs. James Fiddner; and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Jan. 7, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home , 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
