NEWTOWN, Conn. - Donald Dessereau of Newtown, formerly of Danbury, died Saturday, Nov. 22. He was 85.
Dessereau served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Dessereau is survived by his daughters, Darcy (Ronald) Kuczenski of Cheshire, Doreen Salerno of Cave Creek, Ariz., and Lisette (Christopher) Morrell of Danbury; three grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Burdick of Brewster, N.Y., and Leona Davis of Spring Hill, Fla. He was predeceased by his wife, Yvette (Daigle) Dessereau.
