Donald R. Bucko, 90, Of Danbury, WWII Veteran, Retired Amphenol Employee

DANBURY, Conn. - Donald Raphael Bucko of Danbury died Saturday, Oct. 18. He was 90.

Bucko was born March 25, 1924, in South Windham, to Elizabeth and Michael Bucko. He attended Henry Abbott Technical School in Danbury. He served in World War II in the 3rd Engineering Division. He was a machinist and toolmaker for Amphenol in Danbury for many years and retired after 30 years of service.

Bucko is survived by his children, Nora and Daniel; two grandchildren; and friend, Louise Klecha. He was predeceased by his wife, Dolorita Ethna McCarthy; and 15 siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bucko may be sent to: Masonicare Home Health and Hospice, 147 Toddy Hill Road, Newtown, CT 06470 or a charity of your choice.

The Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St. Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
