Edward John Van Wattum, 73, Of Danbury, Owned Western Connecticut Litho

DANBURY, Conn. - Edward John Van Wattum of Danbury died Monday, Aug. 5. He was 73.

Van Wattum was born May 31, 1940, in Indonesia; son of Ema and John Van Wattum. Of Dutch descent, he moved to the United States in 1962 living in the Danbury Area. He was a master pressman, owning his own company, Western Connecticut Litho, for more than 25 years.

Van Wattum  is survived by his wife, Linda; children, James, Jacqueline, John and Vincent; sister, Frances; several nieces, nephews; and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Robert.

Services will be held Friday, Aug. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Green Funeral Home in Danbury with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Van Wattum's memory can be made to Hill and Plain Elementary School , New Milford, Conn.
