DANBURY, Conn. - Emilie Wagner of Danbury died Monday, July 1. She was 93.
Wagner was born Dec. 31, 1919, in Czechoslovakia, daughter of Jakob and Elisabeth (Ratz) Wagner. She was an LPN at Fairfield Hills Hospital and retired at age 62. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Nurses Organization.
Wagner is survived by her nieces, Anneliese Howarth (Robert), Doris Molchanow (Stanley), Hildegard Engler, Ingeborg Deininger and Helga Knittel and their families; and cousin, Eleanor Hayes. She was predeceased by her parents. Calling hours are from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6 at Cornell Memorial Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13 at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. Burial will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
