DANBURY, Conn. - Frances A. McCarroll of Danbury died Sunday, Sept. 14. She was 80.
McCarroll was born in Danbury, to Manual and Anna Leo Gustems. She attended Danbury Schools and was a 1952 graduate of Danbury High School. A longtime employee with Risdon Corporation, she retired in 1996.
McCarroll is survived by her son, Richard Blankenship of Whitehall, Pa.; daughter, Deborah D'Amico (Ralph) of New Fairfield; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Bernard J. McCarroll.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18 at St. Peter Cemetery, Section 15, Danbury.
