Frank M. Kosheluk, 70, Of Danbury, Marine Corps Veteran

DANBURY, CONN. -- Frank M. Kosheluk, 70, of Danbury, died Saturday May 22 at his home.

He was the husband of Mary "Kay" (Russo) Kosheluk.

Kosheluk was born July 26, 1944, in Greenwich, to Max G. and Helen (Wituck) Kosheluk. He was a graduate of Greenwich schools and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, who served in Southeast Asia and Vietnam.

Following his return from the service, Kosheluk was employed as a civil engineer, working on roads and bridges in Connecticut and New York until his retirement.

In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time at his home gardening, traveling, golf, hiking and sports. He especially enjoyed the times spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, he is survived by his son, Frank M. Kosheluk and his wife, Linda of Southbury, his daughter: Melissa M. Scalzo and her husband, Richard, of New Milford, six grandchildren: Christa, Andrew, Anthony and Alec Kosheluk, Sydney and Jason Scalzo, and one sister: Theresa Freccia of Greenwich.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
