SOUTHINGTON, Conn. - Giovanni "John" Stea of Southington, formerly of Danbury died Thursday, Oct. 23. He was 84.
Stea is survived by his wife, Maria (Del Carmen) Stea; sons, John Stea, Md., Samuel Stea, Md., and Robert Stea; siblings, Saverio and Domenica; sister-in-law, Mamie (Lawrence) Craig; grandchildren; and nephew and nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Nancy (Hajjar) Stea.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 31 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury with the Rev. David W. Franklin of St. Joseph Church, Danbury, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
