DANBURY, Conn. - John A. Vendetti Jr. of Danbury died Thursday, Sept. 4. He was 59.

Vendetti was born Feb. 25, 1955, to John and Katherine (Petroff) Vendetti. A lifetime resident of Danbury, he attended St. Peter School and Danbury High School, graduating in 1973. He continued his education at Sacred Heart University and graduated from Western Connecticut State University. Upon graduation, he became a co-owner of Economy Sign Company with Louis Pascuzzi Sr., of Danbury, in 1980. Together they spent the last 34 years designing and fabricating signage and vehicle graphics for businesses all over the Danbury area. He was a founding member of the Western Connecticut Ice Yacht & Social Club on Bantam Lake.

Vendetti is survived by his best friend and business partner, Louis Pascuzzi Sr.; godson, Louis Pascuzzi Jr.; and unofficial niece, Emma Pascuzzi.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside Funeral Services and Burial will take place Saturday, Sept. 13 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter Cemetery, Section XX, Danbury with the Rev. Gregg D. Mecca officiating.
