Juan Pablo Urena, 90, Of Danbury, Worked At The Old Oak Restaurant

DANBURY, Conn. - Juan Pablo Urena of Danbury died Tuesday, Oct. 7. He was 90.

Urena was born Jan. 27, 1924, in the Dominican Republic, to Juan and Generosa Urena. He resided in Danbury most of his life. He worked at The Old Oak restaurant in Danbury.

Urena is survived by his wife, Maria Urena; children, Miladys Rodriguez, Casilda Ramirez, Rosalbania Rosa, Generosa Reyes, Juan Avelino Urena, Viviana Urena, Reyna Almonte, Diamela Urena, Jose Urena and Juan Almonte; 25 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and son, Ruben Almonte.

Calling hours are Monday, Oct. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Danbury. Interment will immediately follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury.
