Juliette de Sousa House, 49, Of Danbury, Worked For MannKind Corporation

DANBURY, Conn. - Juliette "Julie" de Sousa House of Danbury died Sunday, March 2. She was 49.

House was born Aug. 28, 1964, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and was the daughter of Gaudino and Maria Simao de Sousa. She had been a Danbury resident since 1966. She attended Danbury Schools and was a 1982 graduate of Danbury High School. She then attended Berkeley College in White Plains, N.Y. She was a former administrative assistant in clinical documentation with MannKind Corporation in Danbury and was previously with the U.S. Surgical and Greenhaus, Riordan & Company.

House is survived by her husband, Gregory P. House; daughter, Sydney House of Danbury; brother, John Sousa (Paulette) of Anthem, Ariz.; sister, Mary Ilda Silverio (Antonio) of Danbury; nieces and nephews; uncles and aunt, Hermano Simao, Agostinho Moniz, Bento Simao, Hermina Furtado and their spouses; and many family members in Danbury and Canada. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Daciano "Dishy" de Sousa.

Calling hours are Thursday, March 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 7 at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 40 Stadley Rough Road, Danbury. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
