Kathleen A. Vojtek Bassick, 47, Of Danbury, Worked For Cartus Relocation

DANBURY, Conn. - Kathleen A. Vojtek Bassick of Danbury died Friday, Nov. 14. She was 47.

Bassick was born in Bridgeport, to Ronald Vojtek of Naugatuck, and Anastasia Valentine Verderosa of Stratford, and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a senior real estate specialist for Cartus Relocation of Danbury. She was a 1985 graduate of Trumbull High School and received an AS from the Boston School of Floral Design. She was also a member of the Ladies Guild of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, Nichols.

Bassick is survived by her parents; sister, Darlene Vojtek of Naugatuck; fiancé, Ed Buckwalter of Danbury; godmother, Shirley Sedlock of Monroe; several aunts, uncles; and cousins.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.
