Cole was born in Danbury, to Shirley (Ridgeway) Cole. She graduated from Danbury High School and attended Delaware State University. She had worked as the circulation office manager for the Hearst Newspapers.
Cole is survived by her mother, Shirley; daughter, Asia Andrews of Danbury; sisters, Diana Cole of Danbury and Mary Ann Cole of Waterbury; brothers, Edward Cole (Linda) of Bethel and Jack Cole of Danbury; many nieces, nephews; uncles, aunts; cousins; and friends.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 26 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, with a service to be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
