DANBURY, Conn. - Mark Allen Spencer Sr. (Pop) of Danbury died Wednesday, June 5. He was 59.
Spencer was born May 22, 1954, in Danbury, son of Alton and Ruth (Ely) Spencer. He was a graduate from Henry Abbott Technical School and worked as a toolmaker for PMC Company of Danbury.
Spencer is survived by his wife, Shirley (Conklin) Spencer; sister, Gail N. Spencer; brother, James H. Spencer; sister-in-law, Leni Spencer; children, Gail M. Velez (Raymond); Mark A. Spencer Jr and Heather Spencer; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are from 12 to 3 p.m. at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, June 10 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
