DANBURY, Conn. - Roy Enright of Danbury died Sunday, Aug. 3. He was 68.
Enright was born in New York City, and was the son of R. June (Percy) Salamone of Rhinebeck, N.Y., and Clifford Enright. He attended New York schools and served with the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany.
He was a tool and die maker with Barden Corp. in Danbury, where he had been employed for the past 46 years. A Danbury resident for over 40 years, he was a member of St. Peter Church in Danbury.
Enright is survived by his wife, Sandra M. (Currier) Enright; mother, R. June; daughters, Susan Enright-Alves (Victor) and Samantha Enright, both of Danbury; three grandchildren; mother-in-law, Nancy Currier of Danbury; brother, Anthony Salamone (Maggie) of Red Hook, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Alan Currier (Karen) of Bethel; sister-in-law, Wendy Finkle (Chris) and Lynn Cleary, both of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Clifford.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. Peter Church, Danbury. The Rev. Gregg Mecca, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
