DANBURY, Conn. - Rubin Uffer of Danbury died Monday, Dec. 16. He was 83.
Uffer is survived by his wife, Irene (Lafazan) Uffer; children, Daryl Bain, Howard Uffer and Larry Uffer; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Jack Uffer.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 in the United Jewish Center, 141 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury. Interment will follow in the United Jewish Center Cemetery, Brookfield. The family will be observing Shiva at 4001 Hancock Dr., Danbury Wednesday, Dec. 18 following the interment until 8 p.m. with Minyan at 7 p.m., Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Minyan at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. with Minyan at 3 p.m.
