DANBURY, Conn. - Steven R. Sands of Danbury died Sunday, Sept. 14. He was 54.
Sands is survived by his mother, Ingeborg Sands of Ridgefield; father, Robert W. Sands (Kathi) of Henderson, Nev.; sister, Susen Sands-Wessely (Boris); nieces; godmother, Lotte Maier of Stuttgart, Germany; and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place Saturday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 5 Ivy Hill Road, Ridgefield. Interment will be private. Calling hours are at St. Andrew Church following the service.
Contributions may be made to Ability Beyond or St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
