DANBURY, Conn. — Lifelong Danbury resident Theresa A. Guertin died on Tuesday, May 2. She was 80.
Guertin was born in Danbury on Sept. 18, 1935, to Matthew J. and Domenica “Minnie” (Sassetti) Deitz.
A graduate of Danbury schools, Guertin was a caregiver and retired nurse’s aide.
Guertin was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Danbury.
In addition to her husband Gil, she is survived by a daughter, Renée L. Nevins and her husband, Bruce; four sons, Gilbert J. Guertin, Jr. and his wife, Joan, Brian G. Guertin and his wife, Debra A. Rebstock, Rickie A. Guertin, and Arthur A. Guertin and his wife, Mei; nine grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 46 Stone St., in Danbury.
Interment will be private.
There will be no calling hours.
