DANBURY, Conn. - Theresa L. (Ambrose) Gray of Danbury died Monday, Dec. 15. She was 79.
Gray was born Feb. 15, 1935, in Greenwich, to Joseph and Adelina (Pennella) Ambrose. She attended Greenwich schools and was a graduate of Greenwich High School. A resident of Danbury for the last 50 years, she was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Danbury. She worked at Grolier Incorporated for many years until her retirement.
Gray is survived by her children, Donna Lessard (Francois) of Winston-Salem N.C., Denise Relkin (Jonathan) of Putnam Valley, N.Y., Debbie Torielli (David) of Danbury, and Donald Gray of Danbury; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Gray; and brother, Vincent Ambrose.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30 in St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Interment will be private.
