Several officers were dispatched to the area of 76 Balmforth Ave. on a report of suspicious activity at 11:54 a.m., police said.
The complainant said two males with a firearm walked through the day-care center's parking lot and into the woods toward Wooster Cemetery at 20 Ellsworth Ave.
Officers located Eddison Loja, 18, of Danbury, and Walter Vasquez, 23, of Danbury in the woods of the cemetery, police said. Officers determined the weapon was a rifle-style BB gun.
Vasquez and Loja were each charged with breach of peace, second-degree criminal trespass and carrying and sale of a dangerous weapon.
Vasquez and Loja were each held on $2,500 bond.
