$5K Offered For Information In Danbury Hit-And-Run That Killed Young Mom

DANBURY, Conn. – The family of a 23-year-old mother who was killed in a hit-and-run accident is offering $5,000 reward to anyone providing information about the driver or van involved in the accident, Connecticut News Blog reports.

Rachel Sack, who was killed by a hit-and-run driver while walking in Danbury, had a 9-week-old son, Jackson.

Rachel Sack died after being struck by a van as she was crossing the road in the area of South Street and Great Pasture Road just before midnight on Friday, Nov. 7, according to Danbury Police.

Police have identified the vehicle believed to be involved in the collision as a white van with a ladder rack and passenger side windows seen traveling south in the area.
