Actress Leven Rambin Researches Role At Bethel Police HQ

BETHEL, Conn. — You can't blame the officers on the Bethel Police force if they were feeling a bit starstruck on Friday.

Leven Rambin, 26, an actress known for her roles on "Grey's Anatomy" and "The Hunger Games," visited police headquarters on Friday, according to the department's Facebook page. 

"Leven spent the day learning the operations of a small town police department to help her prepare for an upcoming role," said a Facebook post.

Rambin began her career as a teen playing look-alike half-sisters Lily Montgomery and Ava Benton on "All My Children." 

She continues to have a recurring role on Grey's Anatomy and has also appeared on TV in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," "One Tree Hill," "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "CSI: Miami." 

In movies, she played the role of District 1 tribute Glimmer in "The Hunger Games" and was Clarisse La Rue in "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters."

According to her bio at IMDB.com, it appears she was doing research for an upcoming role on the TV crime series "Gone." 

It will also star Chris Noth, of "The Good Wife," "Law & Order" and "Sex In The City." 

In "Gone," the survivor of a famous child-abduction case joins a special task force dedicated to solving abductions and missing person cases. It was created by Matt Lopez.

The Houston native is also known for her work on behalf of people with autism and the humane treatment of animal as well as for her fashion writing.
