Bethel Woman Charged With Harassment, Assault In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- A Bethel resident faces multiple charges after police said she harassed and assaulted a woman in Danbury on Friday, according to The News-Times.

Traci Jones, 45, started banging on the victim's car window at the traffic light at Beaver Brook Road and Starr Road, and punched and pulled the victim's hair at one point, police told The News-Times. The victim then headed toward the Danbury Police station on Main Street, and police said Jones drove behind her and screamed at each stop, reported The News-Times.

Police told The News-Times that Jones followed the victim into the police department's lobby, where she reportedly continued to yell at the woman. She was reportedly upset the victim talked to her husband, The News-Times said.

Jones was charged with third-degree assault, third degree stalking, driving with intent to harass and breach of peace, according to The News-Times.
