DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury resident discovered the body of a woman in a vacant lot on Elm Street Thursday morning, according to the News-Times.
Police told the News-Times that the body was discovered in the lot near the Trinity Christian Tabernacle at around 10:15 a.m. The woman's body did not appear to show signs of trauma, and police are investigating the incident as an untimely death, the News-Times reported.
Police detectives were on the scene Thursday, and the woman's body has been taken to the office of the Chief Medical Examiner for tests, according to the News-Times. The family of the woman has been notified, but her identity has not been released, the News-Times reported.
