The troopers who stopped Jennifer K. Satallante say they detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. They then discovered she had about 3.95 grams of marijuana and paper tabs of LSD in her possession, police said.

Satallante was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

She was arraigned in the Town of Southeast Justice Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

She was scheduled to reappear in the Town of Southeast Court on Oct. 12.
