Cyclist Suffers Injuries After Being Hit By Car In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- A cyclist, hit by a car Thursday on Main Street, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, according to News-Times.

Danbury police are investigating an accident in which a car hit a cyclist on Main Street.

The accident occurred when the driver of a Mazda CX-9, hit the cyclist near the Palace Theater about 2:30 p.m. The victim, a man in his 20s, was lying about 20 feet from his bike when emergency crews arrived on the scene, said News-Times.

Police are investigating the accident, it is not currently known if the driver will face charges, added News-Times.
