Danbury Driver Found With Two Pounds Of Pot In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. -- A 19-year-old Danbury resident was arrested in Wilton after officers found more than two pounds of marijuana in his car, according to police.

At around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, a car driven by 19-year-old Tyler Nicholas Geragi was stopped in the area of Danbury Road and Sharp Hill Road in Wilton on a traffic light violation, police said. Officers detected the strong odor of marijuana and searched the car, according to police.

Inside the car, police found two large transparent plastic bags containing 37 ounces of marijuana, police said. They also found two smaller plastic bags with 1.51 ounces of THC concentrate, along with drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Geragi was taken into custody and charged with possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession with intent to sell. He was held on a $75,000 and scheduled to appear in court the next day.
