Danbury Firefighters Rescue Teen After Excavator Crash

DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury firefighters rescued a teenager after an excavator he was operating knocked down a utility poll, according to The News-Times.

The 16-year-old crashed into a utility pole on Center Street Saturday morning, and the excavator was draped in telephone, cable and high-voltage power lines, The News-Times reported.

He was unharmed and later released to his father, The News-Times said.
