Danbury Man Busted On Charges Of Selling Heroin From His Home

On Thursday, members of the Danbury Police Department’s Special Investigations Division, the Patrol Division and General Investigations Division executed court-authorized search and seizure warrants at 7A Thaddeus Ave., the home of Jeffrey Becker.

The search warrants for the home and Becker were issued as a result of an investigation that began weeks earlier in response to complaints from neighbors that Becker was selling illegal drugs from his residence, police said.

During the investigation, surveillance revealed activity consistent with drug dealing at the home, police said. People were frequently seen driving to the residence, where they would stay for very short times before leaving, police said. 

Officers found Becker at his residence with his 4-year-old child and the child’s mother. Police investigators located and seized a substantial amount of heroin packaged for sale, cash and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Based on these findings, and the fact that many of the drug items were accessible to the child, Becker was placed under arrest and transported to the Danbury Police Department where he was on $50,000 cash bond. 

Becker was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a child.
