Danbury Man Busted On Crack Cocaine Charges

DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man is facing several drug charges after officers executed a search warrant and found crack cocaine in his possession on Wednesday, Nov. 25, police said.

Officers began to investigate Jason Jones, 30, of 30 Mill Ridge Road, after neighbors complained he was selling drugs in the neighborhood, police said. 

The police search of Jones and his apartment found crack cocaine that was packaged for sale and distribution, police said.

Officers also discovered Jones was living with his 11-year-old child in the same residence, police said.

He was charged with: possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing with intent to sell and risk of injury to a child, police said. 

Bond for Jones was set at $5,000, police said.
