Danbury Man Charged With DWI In New York

DANBURY, Conn. -- The New York State Police arrested Elmer Ramirez Vasquez, 27, of Danbury, on Sunday, May 10, on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Troopers said they stopped the vehicle Vasquez was operating on State Route 22 in Pawling, N.Y., for failure to maintain its lane of travel. A subsequent investigation revealed Vasquez was intoxicated at the time of the stop, troopers said.

His blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, state police said.
