Jimm J. Stallings, 42, was pulled over for an alleged equipment violation when troopers suspected him of being intoxicated, police said.

Subsequent investigation revealed that Stallings had a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years and that he was operating a vehicle without a state-mandated ignition interlock device, police said.

Stallings was remanded to Putnam Coutny Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail and is scheduled to appear in Southeast Town Court on Nov. 20, police said.
