Danbury Man Charged With Setting Bethel Home On Fire

BETHEL, Conn. -- A Danbury man is facing felony arson and insurance fraud charges after Bethel police connected him to the intentional fire in 2014 that destroyed his Bethel home, according to the newstimes.com

William Waller, 61, is being held on $200,000 bond for the first-degree arson and first-degree insurance fraud, which are both felony charges. He was arraigned in Superior Court in Danbury, the newstimes.com reports.

The January 2014 fire left the 113-year-old Putnam Park Road house demolished, the newstimes.com says.
