Danbury Man Faces Robbery, Assault Charges

DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man is facing charges of robbery and larceny in connection with an incident on Mill Ridge Road, according to a report by wlad.com.

Danbury police have charged a city man with robbing an acquaintance of $100 at a shopping center on Mill Ridge Road last Friday.

Police told wlad.com that Tyrice Mouning, 23, has been accused of strong-arming $100 from an unidentified acquaintance at a shopping center there on Friday, Oct. 21, the wlad.com report said.

Mouning tried to run after being spotted by police at the shopping plaza the following day, but was chased down, arrested and is now being held on bond, wlad.com reported.

Wlad.com reported that other charges Mouning faces include drug possession, interfering with officers and assault.
